  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • Zest of 1 orange and 1 lemon (or any combination of citrus)
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (or any citrus juice)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk (or milk with 1/2 tablespoon vinegar added)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans) or chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
